- CTC North is part of MediGate GmbH, a central service unit of the University Medical Center Hamburg -Eppendorf (UKE) responsible for supporting and strengthening the fields of science and research and bringing them into closer contact.
- CTC North runs a modernly equipped research ward for Phase I/II trials and conducts trials of the highest standards for the pharmaceutical and biotechnological industries.
- CTC North acts as an advisor to investigators and scientists and provides a variety of support services related to conducting clinical trials. At the UKE, CTC North provides support in planning and conducting so-called investigator-initiated clinical trials.
- CTC North makes it easier for colleagues from the UKE clinical departments and for other external investigators to overcome the hurdles of documentation and quality assurance, as laid down in the German Pharmaceutical Act.
